I love beautiful things. It’s so peaceful to look at and think about things of all kinds of beauty. The Bible says this, too. In the New Testament, I find:
Philippians 4:8 (New International Version)
8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
That’s a great passage. Having all of those things in our minds crowds out the ugliness of life; they look at the good. The list is endless.
It’s fall right now and in the east the leaves are very beautiful as they turn colors. The birds come to the birdbath in colors and stay awhile to view from my window. The simplest of things that God created in nature are gorgeous.
